Writer/director Mathieu Turi made quite a splash with his post-apocalyptic film Hostile so we’ve been anxiously awaiting news of his next project… and today we have the early details to share on Meander, which has some pretty creepy artwork that you can take a peek at below.
Meander, an English language horror/sci-fi thriller also written and directed by Turi, will begin shooting at the end of this year. The film will star Berenice Marlohe (pictured right; Skyfall) in the lead role of a woman who wakes up in a strange tube full of deadly traps. Her only option is to keep moving forward. How far will she go?
The producers include Thomas Lubeau, Eric Gendarme, and Olivier Chateau.
Turi says, “I couldn’t be more happy to work again with Full Time Films for my second feature. The experience on Hostile was amazing, and I can’t wait to raise the bar with Meander. And having Berenice as the lead actress of my next movie is a dream come true as I’ve wanted to work with her since Skyfall.”
As for what we can expect from Meander, Turi adds, “[It] is a movie I’ve wanted to make for a long time. It will be intriguing, intense on so many levels… and scary as hell!”
Look for more soon!
